EU & TR

Turkey is a Eurasian country that stretches across the Anatolian peninsula in Southwestern Asia and the Balkan region of Southeastern Europe. Turkey borders eight countries. Two of which are on the European continent. Bulgaria to the northwest and Greece to the west.

The Republic of Turkey is a democratic, secular, constitutional republic whose political system was established in 1923.

Turkey is a member state of the United Nations, NATO, OSCE, OECD, OIC, the Council of Europe and a candidate to join the European Union.

Due to its strategic location straddling Europe and Asia, and sandwiched between three seas, Turkey has been a historical crossroad between eastern and western cultures.

Turkey's size makes it the world's 37th-largest country. It is comparable in size to Chile, and is somewhat larger than the US state of Texas.

Turkey forms a bridge between Europe and Asia, with the division between the two running from the Black Sea to the north down along the Bosporus strait through the Sea of Marmara and the Dardanelles strait to the Aegean Sea and the larger Mediterranean Sea to the south.

Trend

Type of bikes being sold differs from one region to another, yet Sektor Bikes expects a definite increase in the sales of bicycles especially electric assisted bicycles throughout the world.

This change is primarily due to recent developments in battery and charging technology, as well as, advances in motor controllers.

When combined with mechanically superior designs, an e-bike can easily be an addition to many peoples alternative transportation needs.

All of these advances would mean nothing if these bikes could not be brought to market at affordable prices for consumers to shift their choices from other alternatives and decide among various brands of products.

The current global financial crisis , the lack of liquidity in global financial markets, combined with the drop in purchasing power is leading to a decrease in profits that are forcing many companies to re-evaluate and completely restructure their procurement strategies.

In essence, the only way to keep profit margins at a healthy level - while at the same time remaining competitive in European & global markets - will be cutting costs and/or increasing revenues.

It is within this space that new opportunities lie to source parts from China and Taiwan then assemble them in Turkey.

To substantially lower tax burden placed on bicycles imported to EU from non EU countries, we set up for our clients bike assembly & distribution hub in Turkey thus increase market share and profitability of their European operations.

At Sektor Bikes, we work with our clients in all stages of their projects from concept to complete-bike assembly, packaging, and direct shipment services to anywhere in the world.

Let us take care of all the details for you...
